What's that...? You didn't know that NintendoBoy.net re-directs you to NintendoBoy.com? Ha, you learn something new everyday! :]

Yeah, pretty awesome. This site first opened as .net after I found out that the .com name was taken by those spam advert sites that everyone hates, but some miracle occurred a few weeks after I purchased .net as the .com domain name became available; so of course I instantly grabbed my hands on it! :) Pretty cool story if I do say so myself... you can DEF find out more about the site on the About Us page! :) Scroll down to find out more about how .net is being used!

Sooo... NintendoBoy.com. That's what the site is now. But I'm not going to let go of the ".net" just yet! Hosted at 1&1, I have the "Home Package" with 120 GB online storage, among other cool amazing features! I highly recommend them if you are looking for a lot of space, but if you're just going for a fantastic website such as the one you are one (teehee), then go with Webs (they're free)! ANYWAY... I was able to use all that storage space with the "nintendoboy.net" domain name... to make our official podcast! Check out our beautiful iTunes artwork for our videos! →→→→

If you have a video iPod, iPod Touch, iPhone (like me!), or just iTunes, you can get the Nintendo Boy videos on the go! Who wouldn't want that? All high quality .mov files, iTunes-ready! And oh yeah.. it's free! (But who would pay for it, though? LOL)

So yes, all the videos (bloopers, prequels, and all) are there for your taking, and the podcast is updated as soon as we make a new video!! Please support the site! :D Because of this fact, all the videos can be found online through a little back channeling trick! Let me show you how to do this... (so you can be as cool as me!)

Quick fun fact: The podcast feed is http://www.nintendoboy.com/podcast.xml , for all you RSS junkies out there... without this file, our iTunes podcast would literally catch on fire and just melt away, so this feed is very very important! Feel free to use this public RSS feed URL to suit you needs! :)

All the videos for the podcast are stored in a folder named "videos" on the "nintendoboy.net" domain web space. Every video file is named exactly as the video title, and spaces are replaced with underscores. You with me so far? Great! Let's look at an example using the video, "Wishful Thinking". It's important to remember that everything's on the ".net" name in a "videos" folder, and they are all .mov files:

Get it now? Simple, right?! If the video title is just one word, such as the video "Troubleshooting," then just type the word, no underscores:

http://www.nintendoboy.net/videos/Troubleshooting.mov

Pretty neat, huh? The video URL's will ALWAYS follow this format, so don't be afraid to keep trying the URL's as new videos come out. Now you may ask, why don't I host it on the .com name? Well.. I have only 100 MB on the .com name (I just host the site images, etc, on here), and on the .net name I have 120 GB... that's more than enough space for videos! And the video files aren't that big either.. they are compressed pretty well to be convenient to have on your iPod / iTunes... the biggest one is our longest video (Rock Band Documentary) and that clocks in at around 8 minutes, and a little over 60 MB. Not too bad, huh!? :P Soo.. now that you have the secret to finding all the Nintendo Boy videos online in .mov formats at our .net name... our videos are at your disposal! So feel free to download them manually if you want to... just remember our videos and the site are protected under a Creative Commons License! Well, I hope you got something out of that little tutorial... I think it's pretty cool, huh? Don't you love this site! I do! Haha, so much crazy cool things... it makes me asplode! :)

Errrr, sooo.. other uses of this domain name... is well, this page! Yay! Haha. Also, once I run out of web space at webs, I will host them on the .net name! 120 GB of space, I'm telling ya!!
